Connect ConnectSafely MCP server to ChatGPT
Connect ConnectSafely to ChatGPT using Model Context Protocol for AI-powered LinkedIn engagement management.
Prerequisites
- Pro or Agency plan subscription
- Your MCP server URL from MCP Setup page
- ChatGPT Plus or Team account
Connection URL
Your MCP server URL format:

Method 1: Via Settings (Recommended)
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode
- Open ChatGPT Settings → Connectors → Advanced
- Enable Developer Mode if not already enabled
Step 2: Add MCP Server
- Go to ChatGPT Settings → Connectors
- Click Create button
- Paste your MCP server URL:

Step 3: Verify Connection
Your ConnectSafely MCP server should now appear in the Connectors list and be ready to use in conversations.
Method 2: Via Chat Input
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode
Ensure Developer Mode is enabled in Settings
Step 2: Connect from Chat
- In any ChatGPT conversation, click the connector icon in the input area
- Select Connect more from the dropdown
- Paste your MCP server URL
- Click Connect

Connection Failed
- Verify your API key is correct
- Ensure you have an active Pro or Agency subscription
- Check that Developer Mode is enabled
Server Not Responding
- Regenerate your API key from Settings
- Update the MCP server URL with the new API key
- Reconnect in ChatGPT
