Step 4: Account Verification and Confirmation

You will see the LinkedIn account's profile picture and first name appearing on the screen, which will help you identify if the correct LinkedIn account is about to get connected to ConnectSafely.

The extension will display your Recruiter account details to confirm you're connecting the right account.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for Recruiter

If your LinkedIn Recruiter account has Two Factor Authentication enabled, you'll need to provide a PIN code during the connection process.

  1. When prompted, check your 2FA method (email, SMS, or authenticator app)
  2. Enter the valid and newest PIN code
  3. Click submit to continue the connection
  4. Wait for the account to sync and connect

📱 2FA PIN Validity

  • Email/SMS: PINs are valid for 15 minutes
  • Google Authenticator: PINs are valid for 30 seconds

Connection Complete
