Overview
ABS Investment Management LLC ('ABS') is an independent fund of hedge funds manager specializing in equity long/short strategies. The firm began operations in the fall of 2002 and is based in Greenwich, CT. The Principals - Alain De Coster, Laurence Russian and Guilherme Valle - have worked together investing in hedge funds in a similar function since 1994. ABS was established to create and be recognized as one of the highest quality franchises in equity long/short investing. Prior to starting ABS, the principals worked at Garantia, Inc. (a Brazilian investment bank) and Credit Suisse Asset Management managing hedge fund assets.
