In 2015, Ålandsbanken Asset Management Ab merged with the Bank of Åland Plc, integrating its operations into the bank's broader asset management division. This strategic move aimed to unify and strengthen the bank's range of services in all business areas, including portfolio management, insurance alternatives, financing arrangements, and banking services. The merger was implemented on June 1, 2015, following approval by the bank's Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2014.
