Overview

Alpha Associates, established in 2004 and headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, is a private investment firm specializing in private equity, private debt, and infrastructure investments. The firm manages funds-of-funds and customized accounts for institutional and private clients worldwide, making primary fund commitments, direct co-investments, and acquiring mature portfolios in secondary transactions. Their services encompass portfolio allocation, market screening, investment due diligence, structuring and execution, as well as comprehensive portfolio management and tailor-made reporting. With a team of over 50 professionals, Alpha Associates has completed and managed investments in more than 450 funds globally across all stages since 1999. The firm is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as a manager of assets of collective investment schemes. In February 2024, Alpha Associates was acquired by Amundi, a leading European asset manager, enhancing Amundi's presence in private markets multi-management. The combined entity now manages approximately €20 billion in assets, offering an expanded multi-manager platform across private debt, infrastructure, private equity, and venture capital. The acquisition aims to create substantial value for clients and shareholders by broadening the client base, capabilities, and product offerings in the private markets segment.
