Amarit Charoenphan
Overview
Amarit Charoenphan is a Thai angel investor, advisor, and board member of over 40 startups in the technology ecosystem. He is the Managing Partner of Aim Ventures, an investment holding company and advisory firm. In addition to his role at Aim Ventures, Amarit serves as a Venture Partner at Mandalay Venture Partners, a food and agtech venture fund based in Australia. He is also the ASEAN Director of Impact Collective, a community-driven investment and acceleration project for impact-driven startups focusing on opportunities in Asia. Amarit has been recognized for his contributions to the startup community, including being named a Techstars All-Stars Community Builder and an Obama Foundation Leader: Asia Pacific in 2019. He has also been honored as a Forbes Asia 30 Under 30: Enterprise Technology and Thailand Startup Enabler of The Year in 2016. He is the co-founder and former CEO of HUBBA, Thailand’s first coworking space and community that is the only Google for Startups Partner Hub in Thailand. He is also a co-founder and former Chief International Officer of Techsauce, one of Southeast Asia’s leading technology media and events companies. Amarit has coached over 1,000 startup founders and advised ecosystem hubs in more than 30 cities on building tech communities. He has been actively involved in growing Thailand’s space ecosystem, working to connect local stakeholders with global space networks like the Global Space Enablers Network (GSEN). He holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business & Technology and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Mahawithayalai Thammasat.
