Overview
As Co-President of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), Andreas Dracopoulos leads a private, international philanthropic organization that supports projects worldwide aiming to achieve a broad, lasting, and positive impact for society. Since its establishment in 1996, SNF has committed nearly $4 billion to more than 3,100 grantee-partners in 137 countries. The foundation focuses on areas such as arts and culture, education, health and sports, and social welfare, funding organizations and projects that exhibit strong leadership and sound management. Under Dracopoulos's leadership, SNF has received numerous recognitions, including the Athenagoras Human Rights Award in 2015 and the Officer of the Legion of Honor in 2016. He has also been recognized by the Rockefeller University and Johns Hopkins University for his philanthropic efforts.
