Overview

Andreas Mihalovits is a German serial entrepreneur and angel investor who has invested in more than 100 international startups. He co-founded his first internet company, Omniga, in 1999, which became a venture builder focused on B2C subscription models with over 150 employees. In 2012, he began investing in startups and later founded Marbella Tech Angels, a network of over 160 investors, founders, and mentors in the Marbella area. He is also a co-founder of the Global Super Angels Club, a platform for angel investors investing six-figure euro amounts in startups, supporting its members to improve deal flow and find like-minded co-investors. His investment focus includes sectors such as technology, fintech, foodtech, logistics, marketing and media, proptech, insurtech, SaaS, e-commerce, marketplace, edtech, impact investing, artificial intelligence, regtech, and mobility. Notable investments include CeleBreak, a platform for organizing football games; Nowo.tech, an embedded insurance technology company; and Bnext, a Spanish neobank. He has also invested in companies like Beroomers, Blinkfire Analytics, Boolino, Citibox, Comprea, Easy Payment Gateway, Entrenarme, Furgo, Mr Jeff, OrbitalAds, Padelmanager, Qoala, Union Sport Manager, Valeet, and Wuolah. His investment philosophy emphasizes credible and feasible concepts backed by capable teams, aiming for long-term wealth creation for shareholders. In recognition of his contributions to the early-stage investment ecosystem, Mihalovits received the Best European Early Stage Investor award from the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) in 2018 and the Best Business Angel award at the Spanish National Business Angel Conference in 2020.
