Anil Goteti is an Indian entrepreneur and angel investor, recognized for his significant contributions to the e-commerce and fintech industries. He co-founded Scapia, a fintech startup offering a co-branded credit card and app that enables users to earn rewards redeemable for travel and hotel stays. Prior to this, Goteti co-founded Protonn, a platform designed for independent professionals to establish their online businesses, though it was eventually shut down due to challenges in product-market fit. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Goteti served as Senior Vice President at Flipkart, where he led various categories including mobiles, home and furniture, and the refurbished goods marketplace 2GUD. He played a pivotal role in scaling up Flipkart's marketplace business and was instrumental in the company's fundraising efforts. Goteti holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and later worked at DFJ Mercury, focusing on venture investments in the technology sector.
