Anuscha Iqbal is a Dubai-based angel investor and entrepreneur specializing in FinTech and legal technology sectors. She co-founded Spotii, a 'buy now, pay later' platform for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands, in 2020. Under her leadership, Spotii has become a prominent player in the Middle East's e-commerce landscape, offering interest-free installment payments to consumers. In June 2023, Spotii was acquired by NymCard, a banking-as-a-service platform, marking a significant milestone in the region's financial technology sector. Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Anuscha served as a Managing Director at The Abraaj Group, overseeing the Investment Office function. In 2024, Anuscha co-founded Qanooni, a legal technology startup that integrates AI into Microsoft Outlook and Word to streamline legal document drafting and management. The platform aims to enhance speed, accuracy, and consistency in legal workflows. In June 2025, Qanooni raised $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Village Global, Oryx Fund by Salica Investments, and TA Ventures, with participation from several strategic angel investors. This funding is intended to accelerate Qanooni's expansion across the UAE and UK markets and further develop its AI engine tailored to legal workflows.
