Overview

Atlanta Technology Angels (ATA) is a non-profit member association of angel investors dedicated to fostering early-stage technology companies in Georgia and the broader Southeast region. ATA's mission is to build the region's economy into a thriving center of technology and entrepreneurship by providing both financial support and strategic guidance to startups. Beyond capital, ATA offers mentorship, industry expertise, and valuable contacts to the companies they invest in. They focus on high-growth technology companies across various sectors, including hardware, software, digital media, consumer products and services, financial services, life sciences, healthcare, clean tech, and industrial sectors. ATA members typically invest between $150,000 and $2 million, filling a crucial funding gap not generally served by venture capital funds. Since its inception in 1998, ATA has been an active source of private capital and business experience for local technology entrepreneurs. The organization meets monthly to evaluate and fund early-stage companies, providing a platform for members to collaborate and make informed investment decisions.
