Avram Miller
Overview
Avram Miller is an American angel investor and former corporate venture capitalist. He served as Vice President of Business Development at Intel Corporation from 1984 to 1999, co-founding Intel Capital and leading initiatives to expand residential broadband Internet access. After leaving Intel, Miller founded The Avram Miller Company, a consulting firm for technology companies, and has served as a senior advisor to Lazard and director of various companies, including CMGI, World Online, and PCCW. He is currently the Vice Chair of 5i Sciences, a medical device technology company. Miller is also the founding chair of Plugged In, a non-profit computer literacy program for underserved urban youth, and has been involved with Equal Access and the California Institute of the Arts. Miller's investment focus includes early-stage companies in sectors such as technology, healthcare, media, consumer internet, telecommunications, entertainment, and medical devices. His investment activities have spanned various stages, from seed to pre-IPO, and he has a geographical focus on the United States and Israel. Notably, he invested in Wisdo Health during its Series A round in January 2023, which was acquired by Talkspace in October 2025.
