Overview

Azalea Asset Management is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seviora Holdings, which is in turn wholly-owned by Temasek Holdings. The firm specializes in private equity investments, focusing on developing innovative platforms to make private equity accessible to a broader range of investors. One such innovation is the Altrium programme, which allows accredited investors to co-invest with Azalea and access top-performing private equity fund managers globally, effectively addressing traditional challenges in accessing private equity investments. In addition to Altrium, Azalea sponsors and manages the Astrea platform, a series of investment products based on diversified portfolios of private equity funds. This platform represents a phased approach to developing products for long-term-minded investors, including Singapore retail investors, to co-invest in private equity with Azalea. To date, Azalea has launched several series of Astrea private equity bonds, with Astrea 8 being the latest addition in July 2024. Two of the Astrea private equity bond series have been fully redeemed. Azalea's investment strategy encompasses various stages, including growth, late stage, pre-IPO, and buyout investments. The firm focuses on a wide range of industries, such as technology, healthcare, consumer goods, financial services, energy, industrials, telecommunications, media, retail, real estate, transportation, utilities, materials, consumer services, and business services. Geographically, Azalea's investments span across regions including Singapore, the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, India, China, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Azalea's investment size typically ranges from $200 million to $300 million, targeting substantial investments in private equity opportunities across its diverse portfolio.
