Overview
Balance Point Capital Partners, L.P. is the successor fund to the First New England Capital family of funds. Since 1988, we have made over 80 investments in lower middle market companies through three distinct investment vehicles. Founded in 2011, Balance Point represents our firm's 4th investment fund dedicated to making investments in the lower middle market. \\Our team's extensive experience working with small and medium sized businesses allows us to quickly identify investments of interest. We work to customize a capital structure to match the strategic goals of each company. Our flexible approach to structuring allows for the use of unitranche debt, mezzanine debt, preferred stock and equity securities, or any combination thereof. With investments ranging from $5 – $20 million, Balance Point provides funds for sponsored and non-sponsored buyouts, strategic acquisitions, refinancings, leveraged recapitalizations, and growth capital. \\Balance Point takes a long-term, partnership approach to investing. Experience has taught us that building better businesses takes time and having financially aligned, like-minded partners is a critical component of success.
