Band of Angels is a $50M venture fund comprised exclusively of institutional partners including three corporations, two university endowments, and a large pension fund. Despite its name there are virtually no angels in the Fund. The Fund focuses on seed/early stage high technology deals but is generally category agnostic. In fact, a goal of the fund is to maintain a diverse balance among technology categories.
