Overview

The Bell Group is one of the leading processors of meat and convenience products in Europe and number one Switzerland. This company steeped in tradition was established in 1869 when Samuel Bell opened his butcher's shop in the inner city of Basel. Today, Bell has 31 production plants in nine countries. Over 8,000 employees generate consolidated sales of around CHF 2.8 billion. The product range includes meat, poultry, charcuterie, seafood and convenience products such as salads, sandwiches, ready-made meals and pasta. With the brands Bell, Abraham, ZIMBO, Môssieur Polette and Hilcona, the Group meets a diversity of customer needs. Bell counts the retail and wholesale trade, food service sector and food processing industry among its customers. The Bell Group is listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
