Benoist Grossmann

Benoist Grossmann is a distinguished French venture capitalist and private equity investor, renowned for his significant contributions to the technology and consumer sectors. He serves as the Senior Managing Partner and Chairman of Eurazeo Tech, a leading global investment company. Prior to joining Eurazeo, Grossmann was a Partner at Viventures from 1998 to 2002 and held the position of Investment Manager at La Financière de Brienne. His early career included over a decade as a laser systems specialist at EDF, NASA, and Thomson-CSF Optronique, where he invented five patents and authored more than twenty publications. In December 2019, Grossmann was appointed President of France Digitale, Europe's largest startup association, which unites over 2,000 startups and investors. He also serves as a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the French Space Agency (CNES) and is a member of Meta France's advisory board. His board memberships include Ogury, Swile, and Withings, and he has previously served on the boards of Criteo, Dailymotion, Deezer, Meetic, France Invest, Frichti, and Molotov. Grossmann holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Université de Paris VI and an MBA from the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris.
