Brigade REAP is Asia's first UrbanTech accelerator, dedicated to supporting early-stage startups that are transforming the built environment. The program focuses on sectors such as real estate, construction, sustainability, retail, and urban mobility, aiming to help founders develop sustainable and scalable businesses. Through a 16-week accelerator program, Brigade REAP offers hands-on mentorship, pilot opportunities with leading developers, and access to a network of investors and industry leaders. The program is designed to assist startups in refining their products, go-to-market strategies, and growth planning, with a particular emphasis on sectors like PropTech, ConTech, RetailTech, Hospitality, and CleanTech. Brigade REAP's mission is to make innovation in UrbanTech scalable, impactful, and investment-ready, fostering a thriving community of over 80 UrbanTech startups. The accelerator has a strong track record, with portfolio companies collectively raising over ₹65 crore in follow-on funding and achieving an average business growth of 160%. By partnering with startups redefining the built environment, Brigade REAP aims to accelerate innovation in the real estate sector, delivering enhanced efficiencies to the industry and a better quality of life for consumers. The program is supported by the Brigade Group, a leading real estate developer in India, providing startups with valuable industry insights and potential collaboration opportunities. Brigade REAP continues to expand its impact, with applications open year-round for startups building high-impact solutions in UrbanTech sectors. Brigade REAP's approach is unique among accelerators, running small cohorts of approximately five startups over 16 weeks. This structure allows for deep, customized support for each startup, with mentors spending time to understand the journey so far, the problem space being targeted, product offering, business model, and more. The program also offers pilot opportunities with Brigade Group and other enterprise partners, access to a curated network of institutional and strategic investors, and a collaborative alumni network of over 80 UrbanTech founders across India. By focusing on sectors such as ConstructionTech, Smart Buildings & IoT, Sustainability & ClimateTech, Mobility Infrastructure, Robotics, RetailTech, Hospitality, and PropTech, Brigade REAP aims to catalyze innovation that transforms the built environment responsibly, inclusively, and at scale. The program's investment philosophy centers on backing bold ideas that are redefining how we build, live, and move in our cities, with a goal to help startups move from vision to validation with strategic capital and market insight. Brigade REAP's impact is evident in the success of its portfolio companies, with nearly 45% securing further investment and actively solving real-world challenges across the real estate value chain. The program receives over 100 applications per batch, selecting only five to seven high-potential ventures focused on cost-efficiency, time savings, or revenue generation. Beyond the accelerator, Brigade REAP continues to fuel innovation through multiple PropTech-focused capital vehicles, including the Earth Fund, India's first and only venture capital platform dedicated to sustainability and PropTech in real estate. This ₹300 crore partnership between Brigade and Gruhas focuses on high-growth startups working on decarbonization, digitalization, and disruption in construction, design, and development. With a robust proof of concept success rate of 40–50%, REAP has become a launchpad for scalable business models, contributing to the transformation of the built environment in India.
