Bryan Wong

Overview

Bryan Wong is a partner and portfolio manager at Osterweis Capital Management, specializing in small cap growth investments. He is dedicated to identifying overlooked opportunities that can deliver strong, sustainable performance, assisting clients in achieving their long-term investment goals. Bryan has a particular interest in investing in small companies, where the dynamic market environment allows fundamental investors to gain a distinct edge through thorough research and analysis. Before joining Osterweis Capital Management in 2014, Bryan was part of the investment team managing the endowment of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Prior to that, he served as an Analyst at Wohl Capital Management, a long/short hedge fund. His experience spans various sectors, including technology, healthcare, consumer goods, financial services, energy, real estate, media, telecommunications, transportation, education, retail, manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals. Bryan holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with distinction from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where he was an Investment Management Fellow. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco. Additionally, Bryan serves on the investment committee of the Asian Pacific Fund. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys spending time with his family and swimming.
