This fund was supported by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Scale-up Action for Capital (ESCALAR) program, reflecting bValue's commitment to fostering innovation and digitalization in the region. In November 2023, bValue Fund acquired a 69% stake in Hostersi, a Rybnik-based provider of cloud migration and 24/7 cloud infrastructure maintenance services. This acquisition marked the first significant transaction of bValue Growth, aligning with the firm's strategy of supporting mature companies with dynamic growth and the potential to quadruple in value. The investment in Hostersi exemplifies bValue Fund's approach of providing capital for further growth, along with operational support and advisors to help companies fully utilize their potential. bValue Fund's investment philosophy centers on partnering with ambitious entrepreneurs who have demonstrated market potential and achieved initial successes. The firm seeks to provide capital for further growth while allowing entrepreneurs to retain control of their companies, filling the financing gap between venture capital funds and private equity funds. By 2027, bValue Fund aims to reach a portfolio of 8–12 companies, investing €5–15 million in exchange for 15–40% equity, primarily focusing on fast-growing companies from the CEE region with significant technological components.
