Overview

Catella Hospitality Europe (CHE) is a specialized asset manager and operating partner focusing on European hotel investments. Established in June 2019, CHE assists investors in sourcing, structuring, and managing tailored hotel investment opportunities across Europe. The team is based in Paris and has structured deals and managed properties in France and other major European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Belgium, and Poland. CHE offers comprehensive services ranging from stabilized asset monitoring to turnaround strategies, including capital expenditures, rebranding, and management optimizations. The firm partners with global operators, franchisors, white-label management companies, and local hoteliers to create value for investors through active asset management. Since its inception, CHE has been involved in several notable transactions, such as the acquisition of the iconic Hotel La Pérouse in Nice in November 2021, in partnership with Extendam and Cèdre. This acquisition was motivated by the unique features of the hotel and the demonstrated dynamism of Nice, which earned UNESCO heritage site status in May 2021. Additionally, in December 2020, CHE advised Perial AM in the acquisition of two B&B Hotels in the Paris area, totaling 269 rooms, for approximately €22 million. These transactions highlight CHE's active role in the European hotel investment market and its commitment to delivering value to investors through strategic partnerships and management expertise.
