CML has also pioneered the use of government-sponsored financing packages to make attractive financing packages available to cash-strapped hospitals throughout China. Over $40 million in medical equipment has been delivered to Chinese hospitals with the support of U.S. Government-backed loan programs, and CML's German subsidiary has won contracts for the supply of over €10 million of medical equipment sold through German Government-sponsored programs. In 2017, Fosun Pharma, a leading Chinese pharmaceutical and healthcare company, wholly acquired CML, accelerating the development of its medical devices business. This acquisition has enabled CML to further enhance its R&D, manufacturing, sales, product service, investment, and M&A capabilities, solidifying its position as a key player in the medical device industry in China and globally.
