Christian Jantzen

Overview

Christian Jantzen is a Danish entrepreneur and founding partner of Futuristic.vc, a venture capital firm based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He began angel investing at 24, with a portfolio spanning climate and consumer tech, known for backing early Nordic university spin-outs, reflecting his focus on innovative startups. He has invested in over 20 companies across the Nordic region, helping founders secure follow-on funding from some of the strongest investors in Europe. Christian graduated from Aarhus University with a master's degree in Finance and International Business. He has also been a visiting graduate student at Stanford University and a visiting undergraduate at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Prior to his venture capital career, he co-founded Reunited Esports, a player-owned esports organization with teams competing in Overwatch and Rocket League. Christian is recognized as one of the youngest VCs in Europe and regularly shares his insights on entrepreneurship and venture capital in Europe through his Medium blog. He is based in London, United Kingdom, and continues to actively invest in and support early-stage Nordic startups.
