Chryseis Tan

Overview

Chryseis Tan is a prominent Malaysian entrepreneur and investor, daughter of billionaire Vincent Tan, Chairman of Berjaya Group. She serves as an Executive Director on the boards of Berjaya Assets Berhad and Berjaya Land Berhad, subsidiaries of Berjaya Corporation Berhad. In 2023, she joined the holding company's board as Executive Director, overseeing a global consumer group with a revenue of RM9.61 billion in FY2023. She is also the Chairman of Natural Avenue Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Berjaya Assets Berhad. Beyond her roles in Berjaya Group, Chryseis founded and leads the Curate Group, which operates several Japanese dining concepts, including Sushi Ryu and Park Grill and Bar Shake. She also established LUMI Beauty, a skincare brand that has gained regional popularity. Her diverse investment portfolio includes the juice café chain La Juiceria and the online fashion and beauty marketplace Goxip. In February 2026, she co-led a US$5 million Series A funding round for Goxip, aiming to expand its presence in Southeast Asia. Chryseis is married to SM Faliq Nasimuddin, heir to Malaysia's Naza Group. Together, they founded CF Capital, a boutique venture capital firm and the official partner of the Michelin Guide in Malaysia. She is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly with the Tzu Chi Foundation, and for balancing her career with family life. She has two children: a daughter, Arianna Kyla, born in July 2020, and a son, Arman.
