Established in 1913, the City of Zurich Pension Fund is a public pension fund that manages retirement assets for the Zurich administration and affiliated companies. It operates for around 150 institutions, including schools and cultural companies, serving over 36,000 insured individuals and more than 20,000 pensioners. As of December 31, 2018, the fund's assets were allocated across liquidity, bonds (CHF and non-CHF), employer investments, mortgages, private placements, domestic and foreign equities, domestic and foreign real estate, private equity, hedge funds, insurance-linked securities, and senior secured loans.
