Civan Sözkesen is a Turkish entrepreneur and angel investor based in Denizli, Turkey. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Funika Holding, a company specializing in textile manufacturing and software development. Under his leadership, Funika Holding has expanded its operations to include mobile application and game development studios, as well as partnerships in big data analysis and electric scooter manufacturing. Additionally, Funika Holding has investments in U.S.-based funds, including Applovin, Coursera, and Flutterwave. In 2015, Sözkesen co-founded PolyVerse Life, a digital payment and cryptocurrency custody platform, aiming to accelerate crypto adoption by providing a globally recognized and trusted wallet technology. He also co-founded RowaGames, a company in the gaming industry. His investment activities encompass various sectors, including technology, healthcare, real estate, financial services, education, entertainment, e-commerce, consumer goods, energy, transportation, telecommunications, media, agriculture, manufacturing, and logistics. Sözkesen holds a degree in Production Systems and Industrial Engineering from Sabancı University and has received training in 'Cross Border Innovation' from Harvard University. He is an active member of the TAİDER Family Business Association and serves as the Vice President of the Habitat Association. He is also a Board Member of GEN Turkey, one of the largest entrepreneurship networks in the world.
