Craig Robins

Overview

An established real estate developer and art collector, Craig Robins is the founder and CEO of Dacra Development, known for transforming Miami's urban landscape. Under Robins' leadership, Dacra has developed over 2 million square feet of commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties, including significant projects in South Beach's Art Deco District, Lincoln Road, and the Miami Design District. The Miami Design District, an 18-square block neighborhood, has become a global center for design, fashion, and art, featuring luxury brands and public art installations. Robins co-founded Design Miami in 2005, a leading global forum for collectible design, which has grown to include annual fairs in Miami Beach, Basel, and Paris. In 2023, Design Miami was acquired by Basic.Space, an e-commerce platform in which Robins is an investor and board member. As an individual investor, Robins focuses on early-stage investments in digital-first brands and disruptive technologies, many of which emphasize sustainability. Robins holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He is married to Jackie Soffer, co-owner of Turnberry Associates, and serves on the advisory board of the University of Miami School of Architecture's Master in Real Estate Development and Urbanism. He also serves on the board of governors for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami.
