Overview
Established in 2015, CreditEase Israel Innovation Fund (CEIIF) is a venture capital fund that invests in private technology companies located in Israel and the United States. The fund considers opportunities across a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, media, telecommunications, and digital health, and invests in a mixture of early and later-stage opportunities. CEIIF is managed by Israel Innovation Investment Management Ltd., a Cayman Islands-based manager jointly owned by CreditEase and its founding managing partners, Tayman Kan and Benjamin Weiss. In 2018, CEIIF was ranked as the second most active Chinese investment institution in Israel's high-tech venture capital market, according to the IVC Research Center. The fund has invested in 20 high-tech start-ups in Israel, including companies such as Corephotonics, EarlySense, WeedOut, and Kaminario, spanning fields from digital medicine to artificial intelligence, network communication security, agricultural technology, cloud, and data storage. CEIIF's strategic investment partnership with CreditEase, a leading FinTech company in China specializing in inclusive finance and wealth management, enhances its ability to support portfolio companies with extensive relationships in Asia. This partnership provides end-to-end support to portfolio companies, leveraging CreditEase's network and expertise to facilitate growth and expansion.
