Overview
D.CAMP is a non-profit organization established in 2012 by 19 Korean financial institutions to support young entrepreneurs and invigorate the Korean startup ecosystem. Located in Seoul's Gangnam district, D.CAMP offers co-working spaces, investment opportunities, and networking events for startups. Its programs include D.DAY, a monthly demo day for startups to pitch to investors, and D.TALKS, a series of talks and workshops on entrepreneurship. In 2023, D.CAMP invested KRW 5.7 billion in 44 early-stage companies, adding to its previous direct investments of KRW 27.5 billion in 209 companies since 2015. It also indirectly invested KRW 14 billion in global funds last year. D.CAMP has partnered with organizations like Stanford University and 500 Global to support startups in their global expansion efforts. D.CAMP's mission is to nurture entrepreneurship among young generations in South Korea and Asia. It offers several tools, programs, and support systems, including quality infrastructure. D.CAMP serves as a space for the most talented and passionate start-up entrepreneurs, offering a 45,000 sq ft facility with co-working space, lounge, lecture rooms, event halls, and dedicated offices for promising start-ups.
