Dan Mendelson

Overview

Dan Mendelson is the Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Health, a business unit at JPMorgan Chase & Co. that focuses on accelerating the delivery of new care models to improve the quality, equity, and affordability of employer-sponsored healthcare. Prior to this role, Mendelson founded Avalere Health, a healthcare advisory company based in Washington, D.C., and served as an Operating Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a private equity firm specializing in healthcare and technology investments. He also held the position of Associate Director for Health at the Office of Management and Budget during the Clinton Administration, overseeing the nation's healthcare portfolio, including Medicare, Medicaid, NIH, CDC, and the FDA. Mendelson currently serves on the boards of Vera Whole Health and Champions Oncology and is an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
