Overview

Daniel Levy is a British businessman and investor, recognized for his substantial ownership in ENIC International Ltd., a British investment company. ENIC holds a significant stake in Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, with Levy and his family owning 29.88% of ENIC International Ltd. ENIC's Bahamas-registered subsidiary, ENIC International Limited, currently holds 86.58% of the total issued share capital of Tottenham Hotspur. Levy served as the executive chairman of Tottenham Hotspur from February 2001 until September 2025, becoming the league’s longest-serving executive in that role. He stepped down in September 2025 after 24 years in the role following a restructuring triggered by the club's ultimate owners, the Lewis Family Trust. Under Levy's leadership, ENIC expanded its portfolio to include stakes in various European football clubs, such as AEK Athens, Slavia Prague, and Vicenza, as well as non-football companies like Warner Bros. and Autonomy. In October 2025, the Lewis family, through ENIC, injected £100 million into Tottenham Hotspur to strengthen the club's financial position and support its long-term sporting success. In June 2026, Levy's family trust sold its entire 24.99% stake in ENIC to Eight Sports Capital Limited, marking the end of Levy's direct involvement with the club. The transaction involved Eight Sports Capital acquiring the entire issued share capital of Walburg Holdings Limited and Larkin Ltd from Oakchester Limited, which together held the 24.99% ordinary share capital of ENIC.
