Davorin Štetner

Overview

An active Croatian entrepreneur and investor, leading the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE). Davorin Štetner is the founder, CEO, and president of CRANE, the oldest Croatian organization of investors and business angels. Under his leadership, CRANE has been connecting investors and sharing experiences since 2008. He is also the owner and director of the KREATOR group, which encompasses various companies, brands, projects, and investments, including Kreator TV, Kreator Film New York, and Zimo Digital. In 2011, at the age of 29, Štetner made a significant impact in the media industry by acquiring the Formula 1™ media rights for Croatia, becoming the youngest private F1™ rights holder globally. This achievement led to collaborations with major sports brands such as Eurosport, MotoGP™, and IMG World. Additionally, he founded the Kreator Racing Team in 2012, which has achieved notable success in Formula Renault, Karting, and Motocross, holding over 19 national and international championship titles. Štetner has been actively involved in various leadership roles, including serving as a member of the Economic Council of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and as the president of the Croatian Auto and Karting Federation (HAKS). He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Croatian Auto & Karting Federation (HAKS) since 2011 and served as its president from 2019 to 2023. His extensive experience spans media rights acquisition, television production, and motorsports management, reflecting his diverse interests and expertise in the business and investment sectors.
