The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship is an award-winning hub for entrepreneurship committed to creating an equitable and inclusive community to educate, empower, and equip students with the business skills needed to be an entrepreneur and the resources necessary to make their business ideas a reality. The center offers a variety of year-round programming, including the signature annual Shark Tank-style competition, Pitch Dingman Competition. In 2023, The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine named the University of Maryland, College Park the No. 7 best college for undergraduate entrepreneurship studies nationally and No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic region. This ranking marks eight straight years in the Top 10 and 11 straight years in the Top 25.
