Dr. Thomas Dübendorfer

Overview

Dr. Thomas Dübendorfer is an angel investor and president of the Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC). He has co-founded nine Swiss startups, including 9T Labs, Agrinorm, Contovista, Frontify, Get More Brain, precisionED, Spontacts, threatray, and yes.com. Frontify, with more than 300 employees, is redefining brand management for larger organizations globally. He has been an angel investor since 2010 and has received the SECA Business Angel of the Year 2024 award. He also invests in startups targeting markets in Africa through Launch Africa, which has helped create more than 80,000 jobs. As juror, panelist, and board member, Dr. Dübendorfer adds value with his startup and scale-up know-how, management strategy, technology experience, and as a computer scientist with a PhD from ETH Zürich and experience from his software engineering job at Google. He also teaches at universities and gives talks at events and moderates panels, usually for larger audiences in standard German, Swiss German, or English. He wrote a foreword to the free Product-Market Fit book.
