Edmundo Gonzalez is a technology entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in private and publicly traded companies. He co-founded Marpai Health in February 2019, serving as its Chief Executive Officer and Secretary. Under his leadership, Marpai Health developed SMART health plan services that leverage advanced AI to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs for self-insured companies and their employees. The company's offerings include predictive analytics to anticipate health events, guidance to high-quality providers, and tools like the SMART app and member portal to facilitate better health management. Marpai Health operates nationwide, serving over 65 self-insured companies and 50,000 members, partnering with provider networks such as Aetna and Cigna. Prior to Marpai Health, Gonzalez was a Partner at CNTP's US VC Partners Management, LLC from December 2013 to December 2018, where he analyzed potential investments, structured deals, and monitored companies post-investment. He also co-founded and served as Chairman of the Board for FreightHub, Inc., a digital cross-border logistics company, from October 2015 to September 2020. Additionally, Gonzalez has been involved with Grays West Ventures LLC, Grays West Ventures II LLC, Grays West Real Estate LLC, and Selway Capital LLC, providing consulting services and investment management. He holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. In November 2023, Gonzalez stepped down as CEO of Marpai Health, with Damien Lamendola appointed as his successor.
