Elisha Wiesel

Overview

Elisha Wiesel is a seasoned financial professional with a diverse background in investment management and technology. After earning a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University, he embarked on a 25-year career at Goldman Sachs, where he held various leadership roles, including Chief Risk Officer of the Securities Division and Chief Information Officer. In 2019, he transitioned from Goldman Sachs to co-found ClearAlpha Technologies, an emerging investment manager, where he serves as a founding partner and Chief Risk Officer. At ClearAlpha, Wiesel is responsible for designing and calibrating the firm's risk management architecture and co-managing the Niche Plus fund. In addition to his role at ClearAlpha, Wiesel is actively involved in several other ventures. He chairs Entrio, an Israeli financial technology start-up, and the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, continuing his father's legacy of humanitarian work. He also serves on the Board of Directors for FactSet Research Systems, contributing his expertise in risk management and technology. His philanthropic efforts include organizing fundraisers and serving as a board member for Good Shepherd Services, a Brooklyn-based charity supporting at-risk youths and their families. Wiesel's investment focus spans multiple asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital, with a strategic emphasis on growth, late-stage, pre-IPO, buyout, turnaround, and distressed investments.
