Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government agency responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. Enterprise Ireland's recent initiatives include launching a new five-year strategy, 'Delivering for Ireland, Leading Globally (2025-2029)', which aims to support 1,000 new startups, increase employment in supported companies to 275,000, and achieve €50 billion in export sales by 2029. In 2023, Enterprise Ireland's clients achieved exports of €32.1 billion, up 19% on the previous year, with client companies establishing 415 new overseas presences. The agency continues to support Irish companies in scaling internationally, with a particular emphasis on sectors such as technology and life sciences, to further embed Irish businesses in global markets.
