Overview

ESSEC Alumni Business Angels is a network of alumni from ESSEC Business School investing in promising startups. Founded in 2011, the club focuses on providing seed capital to startups, typically between one and three years old, at a pivotal stage when they are acquiring their first customers and making strategic decisions. The investment amounts range from €200,000 to €1 million. The club's members, who include senior executives, seasoned entrepreneurs, and industry experts, offer not only financial support but also strategic advice and active involvement in the startups' management committees. This hands-on approach aims to foster innovation and growth within the French entrepreneurial ecosystem. In partnership with Paris Business Angels, the largest business angel network in France, ESSEC Alumni Business Angels co-invests and shares best practices, contributing to an annual investment of €4.4 million to support French innovation. The club is committed to lifelong learning for its members and promoting ESSEC's dedication to entrepreneurship and innovation.
