Faisal Butt

Overview

Faisal Butt is a UK-based investor specializing in property and technology sectors. He is the founder of Spire Ventures, a private equity and venture capital firm focusing on property-related businesses, real estate joint ventures, specialist GP/LP platforms, and property-related start-ups. Spire Ventures has invested in various sectors, including property services, real estate investment management, interior design, construction services, mortgage advisory, estate agency, and PropTech. In addition to Spire Ventures, Faisal founded Pi Labs in 2014, Europe's first property-innovation-focused accelerator. Pi Labs invests exclusively in early-stage ventures within the property tech vertical, aiming to identify, mentor, invest in, and accelerate high-caliber startup ventures that have the potential to disrupt the property sector. Since its inception, Pi Labs has invested in over 80 companies across three funds in 17+ countries. Faisal holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and Computer Science from UCLA and an MBA with Distinction from the University of Oxford. He has been recognized with several industry and academic awards, including the Estates Gazette Power List and the 40 under 40 award by Property Week.
