Finexity AG

Private Equity Hamburg, Germany

Overview

Finexity AG is a Hamburg-based company specializing in digital assets and tokenized private market investments. The company operates a proprietary over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform that connects over 50 issuers of tokenized private market investments with six trading partners and more than 84,000 registered investors. This platform facilitates investments in a diverse range of asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, and collectibles. Trading partners encompass independent financial advisors, wealth managers, as well as German Sparkassen and Volksbanken. Complementing its trading infrastructure, Finexity AG has an in-house capital markets team that supports issuers with efficient structuring and investment brokerage services targeting both retail and professional investors. This combination of exchange infrastructure and capital markets expertise enables Finexity AG to provide the full value chain of tokenized securities—from structuring and tokenization to placement, OTC trading, and settlement. Over the past few years, the group has raised more than EUR 25 million in growth capital from business angels, strategic investors, and venture capital firms. In August 2025, Finexity AG acquired a 90.1% stake in Effecta GmbH, a leading liability umbrella provider for online-based securities distribution in Germany. This acquisition strengthens Finexity AG's position in further developing its trading venue for tokenized private market investments and sets important impulses for the company's future development, particularly with regard to the planned stock exchange listing. Tobias Hirsch, founder and Managing Director of Effecta, continues to lead Effecta and plays a key role in the strategic development of Finexity AG. Effecta GmbH operates as an independent liability umbrella under its own brand and maintains its supervision of tied agents pursuant to § 3 (2) WpIG, the German Securities Institutions Act. In September 2025, Finexity AG's shares began trading on the m:access segment of the Munich Stock Exchange, enhancing its visibility in the capital markets and underscoring its position as a leading trading and settlement platform for tokenized private market investments. The listing was implemented through a combination of several pre-IPO capital increases followed by a subsequent listing. This strategic move reflects Finexity AG's commitment to expanding its presence in the digital assets space and its dedication to providing innovative investment solutions to a broad range of investors.
