Fola Laoye

Overview

Fola Laoye is a Nigerian healthcare investment professional and the Chief Executive Officer of Iwosan Investments Limited, a health investment holding company dedicated to investing in healthcare infrastructure across Nigeria. She co-founded Iwosan Investments Limited in 2021, aiming to modernize Nigeria's healthcare system through strategic investments and acquisitions. Under her leadership, the company has acquired and rebranded Lagoon Hospitals, enhancing healthcare delivery in the country. Prior to this, Laoye served as the CEO of Hygeia Nigeria Limited from 2002 to 2012, where she played a pivotal role in expanding access to quality healthcare services. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Laoye is also a founding board member of Hygeia Group Nigeria and has served as Chairperson of the board of First Securities Discount House (FSDH) and as a board member of Retail Supermarkets (Shoprite Nigeria). Her philanthropic efforts include chairing the Elebute-LUTH Welfare Board and co-chairing the Africa Regional Board of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
