Food System 6 (FS6) is a non-profit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to accelerating the shift to a just and regenerative food system. FS6 supports impact-driven entrepreneurs transforming how food is grown, produced, and distributed. The organization offers a comprehensive accelerator program that provides mentorship, resources, and capital to early-stage companies in the food and agriculture sectors. FS6 focuses on building community and preparing innovators for the complexities of building a business in the evolving food system. The program is open to both for-profit and non-profit entrepreneurs, with cohorts composed of 6 to 8 companies. FS6 supports early-stage companies, typically within 3-5 years of formation. The accelerator program is non-residential and typically ranges from 10-16 weeks. FS6 is rebuilding the agricultural capital supply chain to serve regenerative agriculture, combining immediate protections for producers with long-term system reform. The organization is committed to actively advocating on behalf of its portfolio across its community of stakeholders over the long term.
