Overview

Foresight VCT is a UK-based venture capital trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of over 40 trading companies and growth capital opportunities for later-stage companies. The trust aims to provide private investors with regular dividends and capital growth from this portfolio of investments, while investing in a significant number of new and follow-on qualifying investments every year. As of 30 June 2025, the net asset value per share was 70.9p. The trust's investment strategy focuses on supporting companies striving to create high-quality, sustainable jobs and growth in regions that will benefit from them the most. The portfolio spans various sectors, including technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer goods, industrial goods, media, telecommunications, energy, utilities, materials, real estate, transportation, consumer services, business services, and leisure. Foresight VCT is managed by Foresight Group LLP, a leading investment manager in real assets and capital for growth. Foresight Group Holdings Limited, the parent company, was awarded the London Stock Exchange’s Green Economy Mark, recognizing companies that derive 50% or more of their annual revenues from products and services that contribute to the global green economy. The trust is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FST.
