Overview
France Angels is the National Federation of Business Angels in France, established in 2001. It unites 64 networks and individual business angels, collectively known as the 'Business Angels of France,' with over 12,500 members. The organization aims to foster a favorable economic, social, and legal environment for business angels and promotes their role as supporters and financiers of young, innovative companies with high growth potential and job creation capabilities. France Angels is a founding member of Business Angels Europe (BAE). The federation's mission includes representing business angels in France among public and private decision-makers, promoting their role in the country's economy through media and public engagement, relaying best practices, regulatory news, national partnerships, and events, and supporting international action by assisting new countries adopting this financing method. In 2024, France Angels invested €98.6 million across 445 operations, with 44% of the amounts invested in refinancing, supporting more than 3,000 companies in its portfolio.
