Gener8tor Illinois AgTech Accelerator

Overview

The Gener8tor Illinois AgTech Accelerator is a 12-week program designed to support high-growth AgTech and agriculture startups. Each cohort selects five startups to receive a cash investment of $100,000, office space, and access to a global network of mentors and investors. The program focuses on connecting startups with mentors, customers, corporate partners, and investors to accelerate their growth. In addition to the main accelerator, the program offers gBETA AgTech, a free, seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies. gBETA AgTech is designed to help startups gain early customer traction and improve business models. Both programs are operated by Gener8tor in partnership with Serra Ventures and are supported by organizations such as Agri-Fab, GEM Realty Capital, University of Illinois Research Park, and Champaign County Economic Development Corporation. The Illinois AgTech Accelerator has a track record of supporting startups that have raised significant follow-on financing. For example, gBETA AgTech alumni have collectively raised more than $6 million in seed funding to date. The program's focus on mentorship, capital, and connections aims to foster innovation and growth in the AgTech sector.
