George Robinson

Overview

George Robinson is a British hedge fund manager and private equity investor based in London, UK. He co-founded Sloane Robinson LLP, an investment management firm specializing in global listed equities with a particular focus on Asian and emerging markets. In addition to his work at Sloane Robinson, Robinson is an active investor in early-stage technology and biotech companies, with a particular emphasis on spinouts from the University of Oxford. He is a founding partner of Technikos, a private equity partnership that invests in companies emerging from the Oxford Institute of Biomedical Engineering. Robinson holds a BA in Engineering Science from Keble College, Oxford, where he is also an honorary fellow. He has served on the investment committees of both Keble College and Eton College, reflecting his commitment to educational institutions.
