GVAngels is a network of angel investors founded in 2017 by alumni of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), one of Brazil's leading business schools. With over 300 members, GVAngels provides both capital and expertise to help entrepreneurs build the market of tomorrow. The group's investment strategy includes traditional angel investments and innovative approaches like tokenization, in partnership with Mercado Bitcoin, to facilitate portfolio diversification and reduce costs compared to traditional investment processes. GVAngels has invested in more than 50 startups, deploying over R$ 50 million and achieving nine successful exits. Their portfolio spans various industries, including technology, education, healthcare, and financial services. GVAngels emphasizes continuous support and guidance for startups, fostering a collaborative network of investors and entrepreneurs. They organize monthly investment forums and masterclasses to connect investors with startups and enhance their knowledge in venture capital and angel investing.
