IITI Drishti CPS Foundation

Overview

IITI Drishti CPS Foundation is a Technology Innovation Hub established at IIT Indore under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The foundation specializes in system simulation, modeling, and visualization within Cyber-Physical Systems, aiming to develop solutions for complex real-world problems across sectors like manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, and transportation. It fosters collaboration among academia, industry partners, and government agencies to promote technology development, skill enhancement, and commercialization. The foundation's strategy includes supporting over 94 research projects led by faculties, students, and researchers from various Indian academic and research institutions. It also nurtures more than 70 startups, offering financial assistance ranging from INR 3 Lacs to INR 100 Lacs, with a focus on Digital Healthcare and Smart Manufacturing. The hub has created an ecosystem that serves as a focal point for the convergence of efforts from academia, industry, and government agencies for technology development and commercialization. In March 2025, IITI Drishti CPS Foundation was upgraded to a Technology Translational Research Park (TTRP), emphasizing healthcare innovations. This upgrade marks a significant achievement for both the institute and the state of Madhya Pradesh, enhancing India's deep-tech ecosystem and industry-academia collaborations. The foundation continues to support technologies in the area of Cyber-Physical Systems through translational research, product commercialization, startup incubation, and skill enhancement, catering to the country's growing demand in this field.
