InSoil is a Lithuanian climate finance company dedicated to accelerating the transition to regenerative agriculture across Europe. The company operates a marketplace that connects investors with small and medium-sized farms, providing them with medium-term financing, expert agronomic support, and advanced soil and emissions monitoring technologies. This integrated approach enables farmers to adopt sustainable practices, improve soil health, and generate high-quality carbon credits, creating new revenue streams while building climate resilience in agriculture. Founded in 2020, InSoil has facilitated over €80 million in loans, supporting more than 3,000 farmers in their transition to regenerative agriculture. The company has expanded its operations to multiple European countries, including Lithuania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, and Ukraine. In 2025, InSoil secured a €100 million partnership with Canadian investment firm Key Carbon, aiming to transform one million hectares of European farmland by 2026. This partnership enables InSoil to offer zero-interest Green Loans to farmers adopting regenerative practices, with the goal of sequestering over 35 million tonnes of atmospheric CO₂ emissions. In addition to its financing activities, InSoil has established strategic collaborations to market over 500,000 independently verified soil carbon removals from its Carbon Farming Program in Lithuania. These collaborations provide exclusive access to high-quality carbon credits, supporting the company's mission to promote sustainable agriculture and combat climate change. Through its innovative approach, InSoil continues to empower farmers and investors to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient agricultural sector in Europe.
