IVPSM is the Impact Investment team of Promotora Social Mexico, boasting over 15 years of experience in supporting entrepreneurs with disruptive, scalable, and sustainable models aimed at positively impacting the living conditions of the less fortunate in Mexico and Latin America. Their investment model provides access to capital and quasi-equity financial resources, strategic advisory, and institutional networks. Their investment thesis encompasses any economic sector that has a positive impact on vulnerable populations and/or the environment in any Latin American market. They focus on sectors such as education, health, fair trade, ecosystem impact and development, housing and basic services, financial inclusion, agrifood tech, and climate tech. IVPSM seeks to invest in companies that generate access to goods or services for the most vulnerable populations, create opportunities for social mobility, and have a favorable environmental impact. IVPSM has a track record of making 27 investments in companies and 9 in investment funds, demonstrating their commitment to fostering impactful ventures across the region. Their approach includes participation in boards, strategic advisory, strengthening corporate governance, guidance in impact measurement, and providing strategic connections to enhance the growth and scalability of their portfolio companies.
